Lil Wayne, Lazy or Just a Liar?

I know you were all crushed when you found out that Lil Wayne’s new “Dedikation 4” mixtape wasn’t coming out on Tuesday as planned, but Wayne had a very good reason. You see, 2 Chainz is his homie, and he didn’t want to overshadow his “Based on a T.R.U. Story” album release.

Wow, that’s actually really generous of you Weezy. I didn’t know you had such a kind heart, you’re a true friend indeed. Wait, what’s that? Can we replay the 0:47 - 0:50 mark of the video please?

Oh…so…in other words, you don’t give a fuck about 2 Chainz, you just don’t actually have a mixtape to put out.

What’s especially hilarious about this is that he spends all this time lying that he delayed it for 2 Chainz, admits that he’s lying, and then goes right back to lying about supporting Chainz, like we didn’t just hear him say the mixtape’s not done.

It’s an interesting strategy, maybe I’ll try it on my wife:

Me: “Hey honey, I bought you some flowers.”
Wifey: “They’re beautiful, what’s the occasion?”
Me: “No real reason. Sometimes I just like to remind you how beautiful and special you are to me.”
Wifey: “Wow, that’s incredibly sweet, thank you.”
Me: “Actually, I fucked a prostitute…ok, four prostitutes…last night and I was feeling kind of guilty about it, so I got you these flowers.”
Wifey: “What?!?”
Me: “Like I said, I don’t need a reason to give you flowers, you deserve them. You’re welcome.”
