Why T.I.? Why Would You Include Rocko on “I Can’t Help It”? (Listen & Download)Posted by Nathan S. on 11/11/10 | Filed under Top Stories, Downloads, T.I., Rocko |

"I Can't Help It", the latest in TIP's string of "suddenly incredible ironic songs since he's been arrested again" series (see also, "Get Back Up"), is on its face a perfectly decent banger. The Smash Factor beat goes, and Clifford's flow is strong, and then Rocko shows up. For the record, it's personal between Rocko and I. If it weren't for the Shop Boyz, his "Self Made" album would be the most steaming pile of dung I'd ever listened to. God I hated that fucking album, and it permanently turned me against Rocko. So while yes, his flow on "I Can't Help It" is better than it was a few years back (turns out even talentless hacks can get better with practice), I still can't stand the fact he's on this record.
More than my personal dislike, more than anything I'm just wondering why. Why T.I.? Why? You could have literally any rapper in the world on your album, and you go with Rocko? Did he see you banging a stripper at Magic City and is threatened to tell Tiny unless you gave him a verse? Because that's the only conceivable reason I can think of. This is like if Kobe got to select any player in the N.B.A. to have on his team, and he said, "get me Darko!" Why?
There, I think it's completely out of my system. I feel much better now, thanks for listening.
UPDATE: Terrible video accompaniment. Sure, why not?
You don't have to press play. You can help yourself.
