As many of you undoubtedly noticed, and spend the entire weekend distraught over, last Friday came and went without a new edition to our ever popular series Fails of the Week. Sorry, we were battling our own fail in the form of technical problems, but don't despair. To make up for it I'm posting a sampling of Complex.com's new, dope The 50 Worst Hip-Hop Fails list, along with my own commentary. Enjoy, it's about to get failtastic around here.
Game Gets Dumped on "Change of Heart"
You can tattoo your face and wear all red, but when the world has seen you get dumped on the uber-corny show "Change of Heart" it's hard to stay intimidating. If he was really gangster he would have punched that host in the face. Good lord is that man aggravating.
Memphis Bleek for Garnier Fructis
Even more surprising than seeing Bleek in a shampoo commercial? The fact that some advertiser thought a bald, low-level rapper could sell shampoo to white women. What the hell was going on here? Hey, though Jay-Z scraps don't pay all the bills.
Pharcyde Co-Signs Austin Green
As a Pharcyde fan I obviously blocked this from my memory. For reasons only god knows, Pharcyde member Slim Kid Tre made 90210 actor Brian Austin Green his protege, even putting out an atrocious album called One Stop Carnival. Even worse, he clearly taught Green to copy the Cyde's trademark rhyme style. Have you no shame Slim Kid Tre? At long last, have you no shame?
Scott Storch Battle Raps Timbaland
After Timbaland took some shots at Scott Storch, calling him a "piano man", Storch took him upon himself to drop a battle rap slamming Timbo. The result? Storch would declare bankruptcy within the year and Timbo would keep making enormous hits. Nice try Scott. How was this dude ever in The Roots?
Good list there...I would say that Berg's fail is related to Cam'ron's...it that were me, I'da told the cops ERRTHING-back to the yard for Trick Trick and Maino!

Scott Torch is the kinda guy you would see and either slap or walk away and roll your eyes...

d-mac
ok, so if I put on that Brian Austin Green track at a party, everyone would just assume it was a decent Pharcyde track. No? Its actually not that bad. Id say he has a better flow and cadence than half the rappers out there. Am I going insane or does anyone agree with me?

NYsportsGUY
B.A.G is better than Memphis Bleek. I firmly believe that.
