Shyne is the M. Night Shyamalan of hip-hop. Even though neither of them has made anything even approaching decent in over a decade - "6th Sense" for Shyamalan and his self-titled debut album for Shyne - but for some reason movie studios/record labels continue to throw money at them, hoping they'll somehow manage to recapture their old magic. When's everyone just going to admit that it's not going to happen for either of them?
That was a real long way of saying that Shyne has a new track out called "
Belize" and it's atrocious. Not only does he sound like he gargles cigarettes like mouthwash, not only does he take shots at 50 and Rick Ross - who aren't exactly my favorite emcees but who could both destroy him on he mic and on the charts - but he decides to drag the good name of
Bob Marley and
Notorious B.I.G. into the muck with him. This is a disgrace. Oh, and "They say I'm rap's heir apparent." Who's "they." No one says that. No one.
If Shyamalan's next movie is about a rapper who takes an eight-year-bid for a dude named Puffy and then is later deported to Belize, don't be surprised.

I'm on my angry rant shit today. Listen to the track below, but you might not want to have anything breakable nearby.
