Method Man, Ghostface & Raekwon are “Avenging Eagles” (Mixtape Listen & Download)

There's Wu-Tang, and then there's everyone else. As Wu alumni Method Man, Ghostface Killah and Raekwon prepare to drop their three-way collaborative album "The Wu Massacre" on March 30, their longtime studio collaborator DJ Mathematics has put together "Avenging Eagles", an epic 48 track mixtape featuring some of the best of the trio's previous work, along with some exclusives.

Have we ever really figured out how so many legendary emcees ended up in the same group? That's like if Jordan, Kobe and Lebron were on the high school basketball team because they just so happened to grow up in the same neighborhood. What are the odds that Meth, Ghost, Chef, ODB, RZA and GZA (no disrespect to UGod, Inspectah Deck and Masta Killa, but you know...) would be from the same place? A billion in one? Anyway, I know my real hip-hop heads are downloading this now. Enjoy.

Oh, and despite the fact that "Avenging Eagles" had official backing from all three artists and Def Jam the artwork looks like it was made by a high school kid in computer class, in 2002. Shrug.
