Black Friday may be the most lucrative shopping day of the year, but it's also the most perilous. To put things into perspective, one unfortunate participant was gored to death during Pamplona's most recent Running of the Bulls festival, while Black Friday 2008 claimed a whopping
three lives (one was trampled, two shot each other to death over a toy). For that very reason, I'm leaving bargain-hunting to the brave, and instead spending the day chilling at home, savoring
Lupe Fiasco's new street album,
"Enemy of the State: A Love Story".
Released on Thanksgiving, the hotly-anticipated mixtape sees the Chi-town phenom showcasing his gymnastic flows over tracks by a variety of big-name artists – he even spits a can't-miss freestyle over “The National Anthem,” a cut off Radiohead's classic "Kid A" LP. Fiasco fans should stay tuned for one more mixtape prior to the 2010 arrival of his long-awaited third studio album, "Lasers: Friend of the People", is set to hit the 'net on Christmas Day.
