Kanye West Monster
Kanye West followed through on his promise to deliver new music every Friday by dropping of a new cut, "Monster", just hours before the weekend began, and true to its name, this one's a beast, bringing on Jay-Z, Nicki Minaj, Ricky Ross and Bon Iver for an intensely innovate cut. We're going to have to quickly break this one down outline form, in order of appearance:

Bon Iver: Technically a band, but really this dude. He does the vocals on the intro. That about wraps that up.

Rick Ross: Apparently only on this track so Kanye could cut him off and take over.

Ye: Goddamn, the man killed this. The lyrics, the flow, the crazy delivery, hell, there's even a "Napoleon Dynamite" reference thrown in for good measure. When he wants to, there's still not many better than Yeezy on the mic.

Jay-Z: Gets surprisingly overshadowed. I mean, it's a solid flow, but next to Kanye and Nicki, it's almost like he's just filling time. And yes, I almost can't believe I just wrote that sentence.

Nicki Minaj: Take a look at that art work. See how Nicki's name is larger than Kanye and Jay's? It may seem heretical at first, but I can guarantee people are going to spend more time breaking down her verse, either praising it or destroying it, than either of the aforementioned legendary emcees. The homey Brando's going to drop an extended commentary in 5 (done deal) so I won't go further, but I'll be back with more commentary once I let it sink in.

And finally, Ye's saying this is off a collabo EP with Jay called "Watch the Throne", but I'll believe it when I see it.

I'm surprised anyone could actually understand what it was that she actually said.

Honestly this whole song sounds like bad sex.

Bon Iver is also at the end (with back-up vocals from Charlie Wilson).

I personally love this song's beat. I just think it's so damn dope. Kanye's verse was entertaining, and the energy in Jay's was enjoyable. There was nothing overly exciting about Nicki's aside from the flow- but the problem is, she's repeated the "ah look at me I'm going off like I'm insane" a bit too many times to be blown away by it. Just what I think.

@littleitaly I'm not sure where I said Nicki had the best verse, I was just pointing out that her name in the art work was bigger than anyone elses. So either Kanye thought she had the best verse, or knew that her name would draw more attention than him or Jay...and it turned out to be completely true.

Y'all realize that on a track with two of the greatest rappers every, 99% of the commentary is revolving around Nicki, right? Love her or hate her, and around these parts it seems to be mostly hate, y'all love talking about her.
