Jim Jones the Ghost of Rich Porter Mixtape Cover

As I wrote for the last leak off his upcoming "Ghost of Rich Porter' mixtape (March 23), I'd be hard pressed to think of any rapper who's improved more over the last few years than Mr. Ballin himself Jim Jones, who delivers yet another respectable lyrical performance on his cinematic new leak "Life is a Movie", even if he does drop the least intimidating street line of all time: "I hugged the block like I was cuddlin." Joining Jones are producer DJ J-Buttah, who crafts a slowly haunting beat, and relative newcomer KingPen Slim, whom I have to say impresses with a deep and dopely personal guest verse: "The two felonies I plead to, the broken bones that I bled through..." Well played sir.

Three years ago I never thought I'd be writing these words, but I'm seriously stoked to hear "The Ghost of Rich Porter". Until then...
