Examining the Fashion of Lady Gaga’s “Telephone” Video (Pics)

Now that we’ve all hopefully overcome the initial shock, joy, sadness, and fear that resulted from watching Lady Gaga’s newest video, “Telephone,” we can now discuss the jaw-dropping looks that accompanied the video. In true Lady Gaga fashion, she chose a number of looks that can only be described as out of this world. Below are a handful of the videos most memorable looks.

Star Spangled Gaga

Anyone else trying to resist the urge to hum the “Star Spangled Banner?” Not sure why Lady Gaga chose this “Ode To America” theme for her dance number with Beyonce, but hey it works (we think…).

“Let’s Make A Sandwich”

Not quite sure where to begin with this look. How about the telephone made out of bright, yellow hair? Or maybe the bizarre chef’s outfit? Either way this look makes us a little more leery of our local diner.

Lady Gaga Meets Madonna

Shout out to Madonna for making a cameo in the video. Oh wait, that’s just Gaga emulating Madonna as usual. But much props to Gaga for rocking a killer, studded leather jacket with hair rolled with soda cans. Expect to see this look at a grocery store, bodega, or mall near you.

Beyonce Brings It…As Usual

As crazy as this look is Beyonce kills it. The military inspired, jeweled jacket paired with jewel encrusted heels is a look not many could pull off and Beyonce does it oh so well. And give it up for those legs!

Draped In Disaster

For Gaga and Bey’s final scene we have the ladies dressed in what’s easily the worst outfits in the entire video. Who would have thought to combine an oversized cowboy hat/hood with an evening gown? Probably the same person who would name a getaway vehicle a “Pussy Wagon.”
