Eminem Kills Lil Wayne’s Latest Offering, “Drop the World” (Listen & Download)

When what to my wondering eyes should appear, but a "Rebirth" track that isn't completely atrocious. Tis the season for miracles, and so it was with no small amount of wonder than that I heard the latest leak of Weezy's ill-fated quasi-rock album "Rebirth" and discovered that...it was actually pretty good. Most notably, "Drop the World" brings on Eminem for an absolutely scorching verse that makes it easily the best thing we're heard from the album in a while. If "Drop the World" had dropped weeks ago maybe "Rebirth" wouldn't have been pushed back to February, 2010.

Way back in 2008 Lil Wayne said that Eminem was too scared to appear on a track with him. Um...how'd that work out for you Wayne? A few months ago Eminem seemingly flipped into "f**k you, I'm killing every track mode, even if it makes everyone else look bad" mode and he continues his streak of annihilation by absolutely destroying Wayne with a rapid-fire flow that's absolutely and completely dope. Let this be a warning to all you rappers out there: if you put Slim Shady on your track you better come with it or he's going to embarrass you on your own song.

d-mac	Little Wayne said that? Its official, he is my least favorite artist ever. I hope he fades into obscurity after this failure of an album. He was overrated from the start and has fallen off. On the track Eminem makes Wayne look like an amateur. This would be a classic track if wayne shut his mouth.

@d-mac, come on, are you seriously mad at that thing Lil Wayne said? I mean, he's said worse before: he believes he's the BEST rapper ALIVE so...

better than Eminem by default.

I understand Wayne sayin it, but it pisses me off when his die hard fans deny there is any rapper in the world better. They really look foolish and fundamentalists! :p

Wayne has now said 2 things that couldnt be further from the truth. now he is bout to release one of the owrst albums not only in hip hop history, not only in rock history, but in the history of music.

Man y'all be drinkin some haterade over here.
Come on man.. @d-mac "Lil Wayne has fallen off?" "fade into obscurity?" Are you serious? Wayne ain't my cup of tea either but you have to be closin your eyes to hip hop if you don't think weezy is still on the mountain top with a very select few rappers.

Aaand if Em didn't respect him he wouldn't of got on the track in the first place. I also don't agree with the whole "he's killin it even thought he's the guest feature on the track lol So because you're a feature you're supposed to dumb it down? F#@k that!

Eh... I mean lil wayne used to beast but he's tryin to Timbaland and spread out and it doesn't work for his persona. He has the right idea. If Rebirth wasn't the horrible failure it's turning out to be, it would make Wayne immortal. But it is failing lol... bad. This song isn't the worst though. The last two leaks were perhaps the shittiest combinations of sound to ever hit my eardrums. How does someone score with something like No Ceilings then turn around and F**K up so badly
