G-Shock continues to impress with their newest collections of watches. Just recently, the brand teamed up with Adult Swim for a line of watches inspired by characters from “Aqua Teen Hunger Force.” And late last month G-Shock announced the revamping of their women’s
Deco-G Watch.
The new Deco-G is encrusted in hand selected crystals and features shock resistance, 100M water resistance, auto EL backlight with afterglow, 48-city world time, five daily alarms, and more.
“We are thrilled to build on the success of last year’s Deco G,” said Shigenori Itoh, Vice President of Casio’s Timepiece Division, in a statement. “With GMN691G-1DEC, Casio continues build on our commitment to provide G-Shock Mini functionality to style-focused women.”
The black crystals and glossy band on the Deco-G really set this watch off because without them there really wouldn’t be much of a “wow” factor. Also, with the handpicked crystals and all I’m surprised that the price tag for the Deco-G is only $200. I was expecting at least $400 so it boasts a reasonable price based on the quality of the watch.
If you’re interested in the new Deco-G for yourself or as a gift for someone you may want to jump on it fast because only 50 watches will be released. The watch is available at select Bloomingdales for $200.
