Cypress Hill, Pitbull & Marc Anthony Launch an “Armada Latina” (Listen & Download)

Cypress Hill's been largely absent from the national stage for the last few years, but if the early momentum surrounding their upcoming album "Rise" is any indication, the boys from East L.A. are about to come back in a major way. First they dropped the dope lead single "It Ain't Nothin", then earlier this week they released their "Leakers of the Funk" mixtape, and now they've flipped the script completely and dropped their new single "Armada Latina". A Jim Jonsin joint that expertly mixes hip-hop, salsa and meringue, "Armada Latina" is easily the most rhythmically moving joint of Cypress Hill's career, a fact that's added no doubt by some lyrical contributions from Pitbull and Marc Anthony (more on him later). It may not please the hardcore "How I Could Just Kill a Man" heads, but personally, I'm loving it.

"Rise" is set to drop April 6 on Priority Records.

Oh, and I think most people think of Marc Anthony either J-Lo's baby daddy or that dude who had a couple pop-crossover hits, but in salsa circles he's a fu**king god. Believe it or not, the dude's a legitimately talented musician who, on an international scale, is far more famous than J-Lo. You may not personally like salsa, but the man can sing.
