Cookin’ Soul Cooks Up “Thank Us Later” (Mixtape Listen & Download)

The resurrection of Jesus. The signing of the Declaration of Independence. The release of Drake's "Thank Me Later". All momentous moments in human history. Ok, so one of those things is not like the other, but you wouldn't know it considering the amount of hype that went down yesterday when Drizzy's debut finally officially dropped. As we first heard yesterday, to further commemorate the occasion production team Cookin' Soul has released their "Thank Us Later" mixtape, a mash-up of "Thank Me Later". For those of us who first heard "Thank Me Later" weeks ago (thanks interweb), "Thank Us Later" is a fascinating re-examination of what the album could have been.

More from Cookin' Soul: "'Thank Us Later' is a new approach to song remixing. Not having the a capellas it is a complete new challenge. Cookin’ Soul got in the studio together with french top producer Spike Miller and electronic spanish producer VibaSound using real live instruments: guitars, bass, piano, strings and synths." However they did it, it sounds dope. Oh, and Don Cannon's involved, so expect random yelling.
