Consequence “Whatever U Want” Ft. Kanye and John Legend (Video)

Consequence, the lyrically driven and Kanye-affiliated Chi-town rapper, is back with a new video that's a little more focused on, um, well, asses than his usual work. Featuring Kanye West and John Legend and directed by Hype Williams, "Whatever U Want" is the single that just might push Consequence into the mainstream. "Whatever U Want" is the first off his upcoming sophomore LP "Cons TV."






Some immediate reactions:

1) It's good to see Consequence do a track like this without losing his trademark wordplay and lyrical complexity: "Let me get the number to your Blackberry curves."
2) I hope that model in the video has health insurance. She probably has neck problems after whipping her hair around like that. Hopefully "model hair injuries" are covered under Obama's new plan.
3) This is one of the first cuts to drop since Kanye's Taylorgate fiasco. Despite all the uproar, I'm willing to bet people will be even more interested in hearing Kanye's work than ever. That man's an (accidental) marketing genius.
4)) I'm not the first person to say this, and I sure won't be the last, but Consequence and Kanye really do look strangely alike. You could tell me they're cousins and I'd totally believe you.
