Honestly, I don't really care about cars all that much, and I was raised to believe a real man should willingly go jewelry shopping, but I am a proud member of beard nation, and as so I pay particular attention to the facial hair of various rap icons. From Khaled's laser-guided lines to Rick Rubin's epically sized Santa, here are five hip-hop icons who've got their beard game proper.

Rick Ross

Ricky's beard always looks like someone glued a black Chia pet to his face. Good times. Also, I'm pretty sure he stashed donuts and other delicious treats in there for snack time.

DJ Khaled

For all his Tourrettes style screaming, I have to hand it to Khaled, the man keep his beard game on point. It looks like a laser is doing the lines on that thing. "My barber the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Tech N9ne

Scott Ian from Anthrax rocked this beard much better, but I have to give it up to Tech for going across genres with his chin beard. After all, nothing says "I can't be a functioning member of normal society" quite like a good chin beard.

The fact that one of the most influential producers in hip-hop history looks like a homeless Santa Claus never ceases to amaze me. On a side note, how many times do you think Russell Simmons fantasized about cutting that thing off?

Probably my favorite beard in the game. Like his music, the Philly Freezer keeps it real with his beard, electing to only give it the barest of trimming. You do not fuck with a man who's got a beard like that. You just don't.
