Starsmith – Lesson One

Starsmith is a 23-year old producer/singer/songwriter/remixer/DJ coming out of Bromley, England; and while I found out about him roughly 5 minutes ago, he’s already had a huge impact on my musical tastes. Why you ask?
It just so happens that Starsmith is great friends with Ellie Goulding. Not only that, but he produced nearly every track on her debut album “Lights”, and he even helped write five of the songs. So when you listen to Ellie; yeah you’re listening to her voice, but what grabs you is the production — and that’s all Starsmith. Wild.
Anyways, below is a taste of his studio album sessions, titled “Lesson One”, and it’s a perfect representation of this guy’s style. Definitely worth listening to.
