As a general rule, if it’s been a year since you first said you were going to drop your album, it’s “delayed”. It it’s been two years, your shit is “really delayed”. And if it’s been four years then let’s not front, that shit is never fucking coming out. From “Detox” to “I Can’t Feel My Face”, here’s my attempt to catalog every album hip-hop nation was at one point eagerly anticipating, but needs to give up all hope of ever getting.
As always, I’ll lay down some examples to get us started, then RefinedHype Nation can come in with more in the comments below. Together we can build the definitive collection of albums that are never fucking coming out. Let’s do this thing.
