Wale might hate bloggers and journalists, but at least he's got love for ESPN sportscaster's. The D.C. rapper and ESPN's Mike Hill and Jay Harris spoke on everything from Larry Merchant's hilarious Mayweather comments to Mike Tyson in this "Both Sides Of The Ball" episode. And thanks to Wale we can now look into adding "yah-mean-ery" to the Urban Dictionary. See more...
Wale slows down things a bit, actually make that a lot, on his latest single "Best Night Ever." Wale enlisted the help of fellow rapper Rick Ross and singer Kevin Cossom for this smooth, "only for the ladies" track. I'm not quite sure what to think about "Best Night Ever." I feel like all the right elements are there for a good song. Listen and download...
Sweet baby jesus grant me serenity. It's happened again. Almost a year to the day after Wale dropped his "More About Nothing" mixtape via a shitty share site link that immediately crashed, causing mass confusion, the newly signed MMG rapper put out his The Eleven One Eleven Theory mixtape via a shitty Hulkshare link that, you guessed it, immediately crashed, causing me to lose my shit. Sultry singer and Maybach Music Group newcomer Teedra Moses has just re-released "Another Luvr" a song off of her recent "Luxurious Undergrind" mixtape. The remix to the song features fellow Maybach Music artist Wale and sports a much cleaner sound compared to the original. Since the original version of "Another Luvr" was already pretty dope it's somewhat hard to decipher if the remix is any better than the original. Listen and download...
Earlier today a full version of the highly anticipated Wale and J.Cole collab "Bad Girls Club" was released and personally I think I'd rather watch an episode of "The Bad Girls Club" than listen to the song again. It's not a bad song, but both Wale and J. Cole are pretty talented dudes and "Bad Girls Club" is nothing more than a mediocre song. Listen and download...
Wale's new release, "First Class", is a great example of life in the internet age. When it first dropped/leaked this morning it was Wale's new single, by lunch it was and by this afternoon it was confirmed as an offering off DJ Holiday’s album, We Working. Listen and download...
If you''re looking at the name "Trae Tha Truth" and already lowering your expectations fall back. The man may have a voice like Jeezy/Gorilla Zoe etc., but he's become the king of "wow, that was a lot doper than I expected" tracks. That joint with Wiz, "Getting Paid", surprised a lot of people, myself included, and now he's got legitimately dope lyrical posse cut "I'm On" (no, not "I'm On One") to back it up.
Now correct me if I'm wrong, but I feel like a lot of people have become a little bored with D.C. rapper Wale ever since he signed to Maybach Music Group. Thankfully though Wale has finally released a track that's worth talking about and ironically it's called "Bait." You got us Wale. You've pulled us in once again. Listen and download...
Wale has had a drastic change in his rap style since joining cahoots with the Maybach Music cast. Some say it's strictly Rick Ross Mafioso rap theme he's conforming to, some speculate his lyrical substance has shifted to more materialistic matters simply to sell records and his soul. From the looks of his career as of current it's probably a combination of both theories. See more...
