I truly, honestly believe that whenever Diddy hops on a song and starts rapping 10 baby whales in the Arctic Ocean die. With that being said can someone please pass that information to the overly passionate people on "Whale Wars" on Animal Planet. But seriously I welcome the day when Diddy and his ghostwritten rhymes chill all the way out. Listen and download...
In the past year or so Wale has appeared on songs with so many R&B singers that I wouldn't be surprised if we find the rapper singing a hook or two on his next album. The only song which features both an R&B singer and Wale that I've really been impressed with was "Lotus Flower Bomb" with Miguel. So I'm really curious as to why all these singers keep turning to Wale for their songs. Listen...
Most of the stoners I know have trouble getting up to go to the corner store and buy more Doritos, let alone put out an album a month, but it's hard to argue with Curren$y's work ethic. When a song is either really bad or really good you usually know within the first 30-seconds because there's normally a number of signs that scream "this is amazing" or "damn, this sucks." There was a time - let's say even two years ago - when the mere sight of the words "Wale" and "Nas" next to the word "Tyga" would have made my brain melt in confusion. You mean this guy on a track with this guy and this guy? Listen and download...
I know Wale and I have had our disagreements in the past but I will give the man this - the man makes some of the better sports references in the game. His MMG sugar daddy Rick Ross? Not so much. And Loso? The man's been known to throw down an ill punchline or two. Well then, this new "Albert Pujols" should be interesting. Listen and download....
Tony Williams is on a mission to prove that "Some Of My Favorite Rappers Are Friends" on his latest track "Blazin' High" and with appearances from Wale, Emilio Rojas, and Macklemore we believe ya Tony. With a title like "Blazin' High" I expected the song to be one of those mellow, stoner songs but it's far from it. Listen and download...
What, you think he signed to Maybach Music because of Rick Ross’ philanthropic efforts? Because he admired the artistic vision of a man who once rapped, “I’m thinking money – every minute thinkin money / I bust a nut, then I’m back to thinkin money”? Wale didn’t admire Ross’ art, he admired his "Ambition". See more....
