Now if there’s one song that I’d absolutely love to hear a breakdown of it's certainly Waka Flocka's “O Let’s Do It.” Okay, not really but I was surprised to hear that there was any kind of back story whatsoever for Waka's 2009 hit. And for Waka to be one of the most criticized artists in Hip-Hop he sure is everywhere these days. See more...
Waka Flocka and Trey Songz must really have a thing against people who purchase art at auctions because I see no other reason why they would randomly choose to kidnap them. As if the music video for "I Don't Really Care" wasn't already confusing enough you also have to deal with Trey Songz pretending to be a rapper and that's just cruel. See more...
I had the chance to cross paths with the 25-year-old ATLien at New York’s Bowery Hotel for an up-close-and-personal event with the folks at SPIN Magazine. Waka, who serves as the poster boy for SPIN’s May/June Loud issue, held a Grove St. Party for a few marquee editors, writers and lucky fans. See more...
"I wonder how many ad-libs 'Hard in the Paint' actually has?" The answer, as I quickly learned, is "way too many to possible even fucking count." Seriously. The sheer volume of ad-libs in "Hard in the Paint" is absolutely incredible. See more...
When I first heard that rapper Waka Flocka had released his second ad for PETA I already had the sarcastic comments forming in my head, but after seeing the ad I don't have anything bad to say about it. It's a huuuge step up from Waka's first ad with PETA in which he appears naked. This ad is just way too cute to slander and on top of that it's for a good cause. See more...
For this song to feature so many mentions of ass clapping the video to "Round Of Applause" sure has quite the ass clapping deficit. This was definitely not the song for a video with an actual storyline or a "basketball wife." A storyline that it looks like neither Drake or Waka Flocka are a part of. See more...
A part of me really wants to like this new N.O.R.E. "Lehhhgooo," but there really is a lot going on with this track. I almost feel as if it's three songs in one. On top of N.O.R.E. being featured on the song you've also got Busta Rhymes, Game, and Waka Flocka. And speaking of which I never thought I'd see the day when Waka is on the same track as N.O.R.E. "If you drunk, if you high, dive off in the ocean." That my friends is the worst piece of advice I have ever heard in a rap song. If you're drunk and/or high I'm going to need for you to not take Waka's advice and stay as far from the ocean as you can. We all know that drunk/high people tend to turn into human anchors when in open water. Listen and download...
Now that Karmin has seemed to disappear off the face of the Earth it seems that there's another artist who's putting out dope covers. She's a British singer by the name of Neon Hitch and recently covered Waka Flocka's "No Hands." Her cover is almost as good as the original song and the video is pretty dope too. I have no idea what's going on in it, but still dope nonetheless. See more...
