Basketball and hip-hop have gone together since the dawn of time - or at least until the invention of both basketball and hip-hop - so it's only fitting that EA Sports has released a mixtape alongside their new NBA Live 10 release in partnership with DJ/producer Mick Boogie. The mixtape features a collection of songs from the soundtrack, including never before heard tracks from 88 Keys, Afrika Bambaataa, B.o.B, David Banner, De La Soul, Dead Prez, Matt & Kim, Murs, Pete Rock, Snoop Dogg, Xzibit, Zion I and more. More than a couple of my afternoons have been spent playing NBA Live, so when I heard EA Sports would be releasing a mixtape alongside the brand new NBA Live 10, produced by none other than Mick Boogie, I was more excited than 50 at a bulletproof vest sale. The full mixtape will drop October 6, but in the meantime EA Sports is offering up a download of the dope "Class Of Our Own" featuring Mick Boogie, Kidz In The Hall, Donnis & Daytona.
