This Steve Aoki, Kid Cudi & Travis Barker “Cudi The Kid” Video Is Visually Dope (Video Breakdown)

Posted by Danielle Harling on 04/05/12 | Filed under Refined Video Picks, Video Breakdown, Kid Cudi, Travis Barker

With a trio like Kid Cudi, Travis Barker, and Steve Aoki you can't help but expect a dope video for their song "Cudi The Kid" and they pull off just that with help from director Jam Sutton. It's honestly one of the most visually stunning music videos I've seen in quite sometime. See more...

Yelawolf & Travis Barker Get Their “Roll” On For “Conan” (Video)

Yelawolf & Travis Barker Get Their “Roll” On For “Conan” (Video)

Although Yelawolf wasn't able to perform his song "Let's Roll" alongside Kid Rock on "Conan" this week he was thankfully able to recruit another cool white dude for his "Let's Roll" performance. Yep, that is in fact Travis Barker on the drums. Hot performance, but it would have been pretty cool seeing Kid Rock and Yelawolf perform together. See more...

Busta Rhymes, Twista & More Double As Hip-Hop Auctioneers In Travis Barker’s “Let’s Go” Music Video

Busta Rhymes, Twista & More Double As Hip-Hop Auctioneers In Travis Barker’s “Let’s Go” Music Video

There's some serious fast a** rapping going on in Travis Barker's "Let's Go" video. You've got Twista demonstrating his signature rapid-fire flow, Busta Rhymes yelling a bunch of gibberish in a fast manner, and Alabama rapper Yelawolf providing us with a speedy verse. And for some reason Lil Jon's also in the video. See more...

Royce Da 5’9 & Travis Barker Fall Victim To Awkward Production On “Legendary” (Stream)

Posted by Danielle Harling on 07/19/11 | Filed under Top Stories, Royce da 5'9, Travis Barker

There's no questioning Royce Da 5'9's lyrical talent, but the guy might wanna wisen up when it comes to choosing the production for his projects. He goes in lyrically on "Legendary," a track on his upcoming album "Success Is Certain," but the production for the song just seemed all wrong. Listen...

Lupe, J. Cole, Tech N9ne & More Let Travis Barker Get Wicked (Mixtape Listen & Download)

Posted by Nathan S. on 02/22/11 | Filed under Top Stories, Downloads, Mixtapes, Travis Barker

There's a small list of white people that black rappers love, but it definitely included Justin Bieber, Chelsea Handler and Travis Barker. As proof, I humble sumbit the former Blink 182 drummer's new mixtape, "Let the Drummer Get Wicked", featuring the likes of Clipse, J. Cole, Lupe Fiasco, Wiz Khalifa, Tech N9ne and more. I have to admit, it's a pretty dope line-up. Listen and download...

Ross, Game & Wayne Join Travis Barker for “Can a Drummer Get Some” (Listen & Download)

Anyway, former Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker - aka the dude who married that Playboy mode, aka the dude who was in the plane crash with DJ AM - is getting ready to finally release his "Give the Drummer Some" album, and to build some momentum he's dropped quasi-title track, "Can the Drummer Get Some". Tech N9ne & Travis Barker Down Some “Hard Liquor” (Listen & Download)

Posted by Nathan S. on 12/21/10 | Filed under Top Stories, Downloads, Tech N9ne, Travis Barker

Considering Tech N9ne was overwhelmingly voted the best rapper alive - which is yet another sign that Tech has such a hardcore following they'll flood any site running a "Is Tech the Best Rapper Alive Poll?", I thought it was only right to start to bring 2010 to a close with some of Mr. N9ne's infamous hard living. Or to be more exact, some hard liquor. Listen and download...

Travis Barker has RZA, Raekwon & Tom Morello “Carry It” (Listen & Download)

Posted by Nathan S. on 11/05/10 | Filed under Downloads, Raekwon, Travis Barker, RZA, Tom Morello

The last record we heard from punk drummer turned hip-hop favorite Travis Barker, the Cool Kids-assisted "Jump Down" was dope, but his new joint "Carry It" makes that banger look like child's play. If you're a fan of aggressive hip-hop, it's hard to top Barker's rock drums combined with a quasi-Wu Tang reunion of RZA and Raekwon, plus guitar work from former Rage Against the Machine player Tom Morello. Travis Barker & The Cool Kids “Jump Down” (Listen & Download)

Posted by Nathan S. on 09/21/10 | Filed under Downloads, The Cool Kids, Travis Barker

Travis Barker's upcoming album, cleverly titled "Give the Drummer Some", sounds pretty dope so far. If you haven't heard anything from the project so far new leak "Jump Down" is as good of a place to start as any. The beat, which Barker produced, has that ill live drum feel without going overboard, and while I've found The Cool Kids slow, retro rhyme style to be a little tiresome lately, they once again sound fresh on "Jump Down".
