G.O.O.D. Music rapper Pusha T is hurting feels on his latest single titled "Exodus 23:1" and I do mean that literally. Just ask Lil Wayne who took to his Twitter account for this pleasant post: "Fuk Pusha T and anybody that love em." If a song as dope as "Exodus 23:1" has to include subliminals aimed at Cash Money then you're just going to have to deal with it Weezy.
I have to give it to The Dream, I feel like he's really at home on his latest track "Kill The Lights." The Dream seems to have a thing for creating these dope R&B songs that are a bit on the slow and seductive side. Although I'm not sure if The Dream is doing much seducing these days, but that's a whole 'nother story. Listen and download...
It looks like The Dream has moved from "Rockin That Thing" to wanting to "ROC" your body on his latest single. A little too much rocking for a man that sounds like he would fit perfectly alongside Alvin And The Chipmunks if you ask me. But chipmunks and rocking aside, The Dream's "ROC" is actually kind of a hot song. Listen and download...
After releasing samples here and there singer/songwriter The Dream has finally released his LP which is named after his birth year "1977." Don't get me wrong "1977" is a great sounding R&B album and all, but man he's doing a hell of a lot of complaining on this one. It's a little on the depressing side too. This is officially the album men will turn to after a rough breakup. Mixtape download...
In preparation for his upcoming mixtape "1977" The Dream gave fans another sample of what they can expect from the project with his recent release "Wake Me When It's Over." Aside from some really odd sounding autotune around the 2:00 mark "Wake Me When It's Over" is a pretty smooth song. And it sounds a lot like The Dream is referring to his relationship with ex-wife Christina Milian. Listen and download...
Dear The Dream, you are not Prince. Great now that that's out the way let's talk about your new double single "Body Work/Fuck My Brains Out." Very classy title by the way. "Body Work," if that is in fact the first song, is just too much. There's a lot of pointless singing on it, some over-exaggerating, a few made up noises. Listen...
It's never a good sign when you can't even name all the artists on your own track. During the premiere of Kanye's "Runaway" film when he started talking about "All of the Lights" boundary breaking roster, started to list everyone set to appear on the record, and then got lost after four or five folks. We really shouldn't be surprised about "All of the Lights" though - Kanye's nothing if not a man of excess. Listen and download...
A boatload of new videos dropped last week and over the holiday weekend that got lost in the shuffle, so I though we'd play catch up with some good ol' video wrap. Today's edition features new visuals from Young Jeezy, The-Dream, Big Boi, a special surprise guest and more. Enjoy....
Each week we will send you a recap of our top stories, downloads, and videos.
