Wordsmith

If I can borrow a phrase from Smuckers, with a name like Wordsmith, it’s got to be dope. Wordsmith, the latest lyrically gifted rapper out of Baltimore, is building up anticipation of his forthcoming mixtape by dropping “Ladder of Success”, a banger featuring the underground all-star roster of Kontact, Black Knight, Junclassic, RATheMC and Soulstice. If you’re hard at work building your own success, and I hope you are, this is definitely a must listen track. Listen and download…

My City: SoulStice Takes Us from Chicago to the DMV

SoulStice

SoulStice’s life has taken him off the beaten path (at least for your typical rapper), but his travels have only made the soulful Chicago-born emcee’s music equally adventurous. No seriously, he’s not.

Wale “Pretty Girls” Remix ft. Soustice and Akshan (Listen & Download)

Posted by Nathan S. on 10/27/09 | Filed under Downloads, Wale, Soulstice

Wale, Lindsay Lohan

Wale’s opened the door for the entire DMV region, and with singles like “Pretty Girls” blowing up it feels like it’s only a matter of time before the man’s a true hip-hop heavyweight. Joining Wale on the endorsed remix is Chicago-turned-fellow-DMV representative Soulstice and Akshan, who give the track a reggae bounce missing from the original. See more to download.
