I just couldn't sign off without providing RefinedHype Nation with two major tracks to kick off their weekend, the first being Jay-Z's remix of Sade's "Moon & Stars". As a rule, Sade doesn't collaborate with anyone. Ever. Seriously, look at her entire discography. I have no idea what finally persuaded her to break that rule, but I'm glad she did. When we featured Sade's dope comeback track "Soldier of Love" RefinedHype regular D-Mac commented that "this track is asking for a ghostface "remix" - one where he spits a storytelling verse over the song itself with the original lyrics in the background." Well Christmas came early for D-Mac and all of use because our brother in hype DJ Critical Hype but together a "Soldier of Love (Remix)" featuring....wait for it...Ghostface and BlackThought! Don't call it a comeback! Maybe I'm just a little worked up from writing about Aaliyah this morning, but when I saw some new music from the always sexy Sade in my inbox this morning I couldn't open it fast enough.
