The Nike Cortez Running Sneaker Gets Revamped For Its 40th Anniversary (Pic)

To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the iconic Nike Cortez sneaker, Nike will be introducing four brand new colorways for the sneaker which include blue, lime green, red, and tan. The blue and red colorways are a little standard looking, but the tan sneaker with the red Nike swoosh and the sneaker with the lime-green/white colorway are both somewhat unique looking. When it comes to the Air Jordan 2012 Year Of The Dragon, for me personally I feel like it's another case of "I'm more impressed with the packaging than the actual sneaker." More than anything I'm least impressed with the color scheme for Nike's latest Air Jordan. Blue and yellow? Man am I grateful that it's finally fall. I'm not sure if I could have taken seeing anymore neon skinny jeans and Starburst-colored sneakers. As expected fashion gets much more subtle with the start of fall. Gone are the vibrant colors of spring/summer.
