I just want to take a moment to thank Sony for respecting the artistic legacy of Michael Jackson. A lot of labels would be so blinded by dollar signs that they'd release any "new" MJ music, even if he never would have released it if he were alive, in a blatant attempt to cash in. Not Sony. Appropriately, it's been a long, strange ride since Michael Jackson died. Long considered crazy, MJ's status as a revered music icon was instantly restored when he died of either an accidental overdose. And now, more than a year after his passing, we're on the verge of a new official album whose lead single "Breaking News" just dropped. Some shocking news from the Associated Press today. Despite initial reports that the prescription medications that lead to Michael Jackson's fatal overdose were intended to treat a range of serious health ailments, a newly released report from the LA coroners office shows that he was in relatively good health.
