I'm not sure what Fat Joe has in store for his upcoming album, but I do hope that he has a good deal of features on board because without them his records become pretty boring very quickly. See more...

Fat Joe's latest record, "Yellow Tape," doesn't feature nearly as many rappers as the overflowing "Pride & Joy," but it consists of enough of 'em to again take the focal point off of the Bronx rapper. See more...
Sweet baby jesus, you can just smell the desperation coming off Fat Joe. He got every rapper alive on his last single and no one cared. So he apparently had the following conversationSee more...

As if the original wasn't already confusing enough, Fat Joe has now done a R&B Remix to his "Pride N' Joy" single that, frankly, I like much better than the original. Shockingly, it turns out that Trey Songz singing sounds a lot better than Busta Rhymes. See more...

Whenever there's any confusion in regards to a song things tend to magically get cleared up once the music video for that particular song is released. That's exactly the case for Fat Joe's "Pride And Joy" music video. Thanks to the video we now have a pretty good idea of which artists are featured on the song. While that issue is now settled a number of other questions have arisen in its place. See more...

In the rap blog game it's post first, ask questions later, which is exactly how we end up with a mess like Fat Joe's new "Pride & Joy" record. When it first leaked it had Funk Flex bombs all over it, another sad fact of life in the internet age, and was widely reported to feature Kanye West and Miguel. Listen and download...See more...

I clearly underestimated Fat Joe. When asked about gay rappers and homophobia in hip-hop the "Twinz" emcee proceeded to give a perfectly reasonable, honest and intelligent answer. "Niggas is gay. There's millions of gay people in the world. Like, 2011 you gotta hide that you're gay? Like, you know what I'm saying, like, be real, like 'Yo I'm gay, what the fuck.' See more....See more...

New York City rapper Fat Joe recently spoke to the New York Daily News about his big slim down and revealed that seeing his friends die of health problems at a young age was his biggest motivator when it came to shedding the pounds. He also stressed the importance of replacing foods from McDonalds and Burger King with baked foods. See more...See more...
As I wrote on my review for his "Darkside" album, I'm not really sure why everyone seems to have decided Fat Joe was wack. Sure 50 put a bruising on him and he's put out the occasional weak track, but overall he's still making some pretty damn dope hip-hop, including new release "Pushing Keys". We're going to do things a little bit differently today on the Video Wrap and not only drop some music videos, but some other tidbits as well. You know, like Chelsea Handler's all-rapper roundtable and Fat Joe talking about the time Biggie wanted to kill DJ Clue. Good times. See more...See more...
