Today we're fittingly paying tribute to the legend that is Biggie Smalls in a big ass Block of Biggie, so it was only fitting that this week's classic verse belongs to Christoper Wallace and his epic, tragically prophetic "What's Beef?" Thirteen years ago today the greatest rapper of all-time, the Notorious B.I.G., was shot and killed. With that in mind I thought it was only appropriate to drop a Block of Biggie saluting the hip-hop genius that was Christopher Wallace. Starting off the festivities we have J. Period (co-creator of Nneka's "The Madness" mixtape) and hip-hop video pioneer "Uncle" Ralph McDaniels, who are releasing the fist of their "March 9th" video remix series with "Flava in Ya Ear", a club-shattering blend of the old and new that begs the question: where would hip hop be if B.I.G. were still alive!?
