First there was the never before scene Biggie interview and now Fuse has hit us with this very rare clip of Jay-Z and Biggie performing "Get Money" together. Yes, this is pretty amazing footage but I'm becoming increasingly amazed at the fact that there's people out there that are sitting on all this rare video footage. See more...
Like almost every event that happens in the age of digital mass culture, Biggie's death has slowly but surely become less about the actual death of Christopher Wallace and more about creating material to feed the interwebs ravenous appetite.
New York City based brand Supreme has teamed up with Bad Boy Records for a "Biggie" t-shirt that will be included in the brand's Fall/Winter 2011 collection. The t-shirt features what has now become an iconic image of Biggie's classic debut album "Ready To Die." As an added bonus those who buy the "Biggie" t-shirt will receive a Supreme keychain that also features the "Ready To Die" album art. See more...
Not quite sure why Jay-Z felt the need to explain why he's used lyrics from Notorious B.I.G. on occasion. Watch!
It looks like we're in the midst of a Notorious B.I.G. vintage video Renaissance. Just a few weeks after we got some rare footage of Biggie nailing his DJ with a water bottle, and right after we were treated to this classic Coogi sweater laden flick, miss info hooked up footage of Chris Wallace's "Big Poppa (So So Def Remix)" on the Jon Stewart show. Unless God is personally coordinating the release of new Biggie material it's obviously a coincidence, but it's funny how these things tend to come in waves. Just a week after we got some vintage video of the Notorious one throwing a water bottle at his DJ we get some more classic Biggie video. This time he plays pool for Canada's version of "Rap City". With albums titled "Ready To Die" and "Life After Death" who would've known that Notorious B.I.G. actually had quite the sense of humor. This video, which was posted by Fader magazine, shows Biggie pretending to spaz out on DJ Big Kap at a 1995 show in San Francisco. See more...
