As much as I want to like Big K.R.I.T.’s “Yeah Dats Me” the hook featured on the song is some kind of awful and that’s something I’d never think I’d say when it comes to a K.R.I.T. song. But it’s pretty bad, almost to the point where it’s somewhat head aching. It’s the repetitiveness of it and the yelling that seems to really send it over the top. Listen...
I try not to read the comments on any other site but RefinedHype because, you know, I value my sanity, but when Big K.R.I.T.'s "I Got This Here" video dropped last night I happened to glance down and read someone say, "It's nice, but it's not a hit. His album won't do big numbers." Watch...
Just when you thought you had heard it all from Mississippi emcee Big K.R.I.T. he goes and hits us with this unreleased song ironically titled "I Heard It All." On "I Heard It All," which will be featured on the re-release of his "K.R.I.T. Wuz Here" mixtape, K.R.I.T. rattles off the list of unwanted advice up and coming artists tend to deal with at the start of their careers.
The video for Phonte's "The Life Of Kings" is already pretty dope, but if you really want to have some fun with this one may I suggest a drinking game that revolves around the number of times Phonte caresses his hair? Oh, and Phonte's mom rapping along to Evidence's verse for the video was pure genius. I highly suggest that more rappers do this. See more...
As a general rule, a day with new Big K.R.I.T. is a good day. I could be trapped in an elevator with Riff Raff for seven hours, but if I finally got home and found some new Krizza in my inbox I'd be like, "You know what? All in all not such a bad day." Listen...
Just days after releasing their joint song "Believe," David Banner and Big K.R.I.T. have hit us with the visuals for the track. You really can't hate on a music video with cute little kids in it, but despite that "Believe" is still a pretty dope video. And they definitely took an unexpected although welcomed approach with this one. See more...
While Big K.R.I.T.'s new single "I Got This" lies far more on the smoke and ride end of that spectrum, all but the most uptight factions of RefinedHype Nation will find themselves nodding their heads. This production is absolutely undeniable, Krizza's just on another level behind the boards. Listen and download...
Mississippi's finest, also known as David Banner and Big K.R.I.T., have teamed up yet again for the track "Believe" which just so happens to be their take on the Jodeci song "Love U 4 Life." Both K.R.I.T. and Banner tap into their more gentlemanly sides as they swap verses on the leading lady in their lives. Listen and download...
I have to admit that this is probably one of the most unique ways to get Big K.R.I.T.'s thoughts on his latest project "4eva Na Day" and that is while riding around the streets of Atlanta in a ’66 Chevy Impala. While riding around (and possibly getting it) K.R.I.T. spoke with Atlanta journalist Maurice Garland and gave a bit of commentary on a few of the tracks featured on "4eva Na Day." See more...
