XV, GLC, Emilio Rojas, and Casey Veggies all give a shout out (actually make that a wholehearted f**k you) to the ladies who rejected them prior to their Hip-Hop fame on the semi-posse cut track "Blame Yourself." On the track, which is pretty self-explanatory thanks to the title, the fella's tell a tale of high school rejection and heartbreak and how easily all that seemed to change with just a little fame. Sounds like it's a pretty cold world when the chic's who once looked you over are trying to get some of that touring dough.
Although "Blame Yourself" is for the most part a song about rejection it's a pretty dope song about rejection. There's some nice soul sample action on the production thanks to
Seven and although a hook on a song like this would seem better suited for a more emo artist (think Drake), GLC still does his thing.
