Could 15-Year-Old, “The X Factor” Rapper Astro Be The Next Big Thing? (Videos)

Astro X Factor

Some of you may know little Astro from his YouTube smash hit, "Stop Looking At My Mom!" No really, you might actually know him from watching that video. That's where I first saw this rapping man-child before he appeared on Simon Cowell's "The X Factor." And with over a quarter of a million views on YouTube it's a possibility that you may have seen it too.

It's sometimes hard for me to take artists under a certain age seriously, but I have to admit that Astro has some serious talent. All his raps are written by him and they've even got some decent content to them. While his recent rendition of Michael Jackson's "Black Or White" was a little too speedy it's clear that this kid has star power.

So he's got the potential for star power and it looks like he's even got a little bit of Kanye West arrogance in him as well. Although I'm pretty certain that being that arrogant at such a young age can't possibly be a good thing. I'm sure Kanye wasn't Taylor Swift-ing people when he was 15.

Can you picture Astro having a music career after "The X Factor" and well into adulthood? If you ask me, I think this kid should take the Disney Channel route. Not sure if he can act or not but a Disney Channel series seems to be the perfect starting point for pop stardom.
