Lighter shoes are not necessarily always a good thing. You need to have some weight on your shoes. The lighter your shoes are the more likely they are to be less sturdy and flimsy around the ankles. Sure they'll make you run faster and jump higher but because they’re lighter you come down faster (common physics) and this leads to rolled/sprained/broken ankles. The Detroit Pistons had it right, they banned the Nike Hyperize shoes because of too many ankle accidents. They might sound nice, look nice, and have a price that matches all the fancy features but it’s definitely not worth it… Sincerely, A victim of multiple lightweight-shoe-ankle injuries |

Yo, those kicks are absolutely sick! I might get the red/white/black ones too. I am well aware of the cons of the shoe, but each shoe fits different so I would have to try them on before I bought them. |
