Woody, XV & Charles Hamilton Enter the Land of “Make Believe” (Listen & Download)

Woody Make Believe
If you can't beat em, join em. In other words, if you're a dope producer who's responsible for records like these, but your name's Woody so you're constantly hearing erection jokes, you may as well embrace your name (no homo) and make an entire album about sex. Hence we have the latest leak from Woody's upcoming effort "LoveLife", the XV and Charles Hamilton assisted "Make Believe".

"Make Believe" sounds pretty much exactly like you think it would, which with a line-up like this is a good think. On the beat (as well as a passable hook/verse) Woody crafts a smoothly unwinding beat that sets the stage nicely, followed closely by his frequent musical partner Charles Hamilton (who'd probably like to make believe that chick didn't Chuck Norris him in the face), all capped off by a tight verse from new Warner Bros. signee XV, who's frankly miles ahead of everyone else on the mic.

Nice, smooth joint right here. Enjoy. "LoveLife" drops October 6, mark your calendars. UPDATE: Another nice Woody joint just dropped, "Over and Over Again" featuring ESSO. Here ya go.

This is real laid back smooth. Maybe a little to smooth, because I've had to listen to it 4 or 5 times because my mind keeps drifting off.

Too smooth for its own good? I can't disagree.

I also can't stop writing in double negatives.
