Introducing The Lil Wayne R&B Feature Battle: “Ice” vs “Enough Of No Love” (Listen)Posted by Danielle Harling on 07/03/12 | Filed under Lil Wayne, Kelly Rowland, Keyshia Cole |

Every now and then it's nice to take part in a good ol' fashioned Lil Wayne R&B feature battle. And with Weezy features on both Kelly Rowland's "Ice" and Keyshia Cole's "Enough Of No Love" now is as good a time as any for such a battle. May the odds be ever in your favor Lil Wayne (which they kinda are).
Off the bat I already feel like there's added pressure on Kelly Rowland's "Ice" because of the huge success of "Motivation" which also featured Lil Wayne. The audio on the song is a little off and Lil Wayne consequently sounds like a mix between a malfunctioning robot and a chipmunk so I will keep that in mind. But even with sympathy points for the dreaded YouTube audio "Ice" still leaves a lot to be desired. It doesn't stick with you after the first listen and the only slightly noteworthy part of the song is Rowland's sultry hook.
First off, "Enough Of No Love" starts off with Keyshia Cole singing about possibly wanting to kick someone's a** so we're already off to a great start. "Enough Of No Love" is a lot more enjoyable than "Ice" but I really thought that with a new husband and kid Keyshia would have finally ditched her "bitter woman scorned" songs. Wishful thinking I suppose. Lil Wayne's verse sounds recycled, but the production on "Enough Of No Love" and Keyshia's vocals are giving this one the win. Sorry Kelly, you should have went with a "Motivation" sequel or something.
