It’s hard to pass up on breaking down any video featuring both Rick Ross and Wale so this new “Tats On My Arm” video was a must for a video breakdown. In the video, Ross and Wale hit up Atlanta’s City Of Ink for some actual tats on my arm action. Oh, and there’s a 2 Chainz appearance. That dude is everywhere these days. He’s like the Visa card of Hip-Hop.
0:05 – What the hell is Ciroc entertainment?
0:17 – I’d like to have a long, angry talk with the person that came up with the idea to add these commercial/trailers to music videos.
0:22 – Wait, is he giving him a tattoo with a crayon? That can’t be legal.
0:26 – Someone get Wale a lotion sponsor NOW.
0:50 – The flickering of the lights is really giving me a Disney Haunted Mansion vibe. I can dig it.
0:55 – I wonder if it’s hard to rap while getting a tattoo.
1:17 – I don’t think it’s possible to film a rap video in Atlanta without featuring Magic City even if it is only for eight milliseconds.
1:29 – All jokes aside, with the boobs and the tatted arm I swear I thought that was Rick Ross massaging Wale’s chest.
1:55 – This chest massage part is quite awkward. Probably because I keep thinking that woman is Ross.
2:00 – I bet Wale’s sitting on a stack of phonebooks.
2:50 – Seeing Rick Ross (or Lil Jon) without sunglasses is the equivalent of seeing the Chubacabra so embrace this moment.
3:20 – 2 Chainz!!
3:55 – Really? Who could you possibly be calling mid-music video?
4:21 – I hope they don’t really expect us to watch nearly a minute and a half of MMG ads?
