Video Wrap: Big Sean “Supa Dupa”, Trey Songz “Bottoms Up” & More (Watch!)

Posted by Nathan S. on 08/19/10 | Filed under Videos, Video Wrap
You could spend hours searching around for the best videos, or you could just watch them here on our latest Video Wrap. You know, either/or. Totally your choice. Today's flicks come courtesy of Big Sean, Trey Songz, Smoke DZA and more.

Big Sean - "Supa Dupa"

Fresh off Jacques' insistence that the G.O.O.D. Music crew is on the verge of taking over the game, Big Sean drops off a flick that frankly looks like it was a lot more fun for him to make than it is to watch. Rampant "elongated pause" flow, which is only right considering he's the style's creator.

Trey Songz ft. Nicki Minaj

I actually defended Nicki on this one, saying it was her most interesting flow in months, but this video is unwatchable, unless you enjoy epelectic seizures. I have no idea why they decided to go so dark here, it doesn't fit the style of the song at all. Feels like they centered the whole video's style after Nicki's straight-jacket image. Fail.

Smoke DZA - Continental Kush Breakfast

Damn, I did not expect this video to be a meditation on the legacy of Katrina's devastation. Just kidding. It's about weed. And smoking weed. And thinking about new nicknames for weed. Off Smoke's "George Kush" mixtape.

St. Joe Louis - "30,000"

The St. Louis crew drop off some images to accompany their RefinedHype sponsored mixalbum, "30,000 ft. & Rising". This is that serious, inspirational, real music. Consider yourself warned.

P.SO x 8thW1 – The Colo(u)r of Dreams

More of a "day in the life of" documentary than a conventional video. What else would you expect from a man who's entitled his upcoming album "Suicide by Jellyfish." Bonus footage of Guitar Hero rocking out.

Fresh Daily - "Feel M E"

Man, I did not see that stabbing spree coming at the end. Oh, I'm sorry. Should I have issued a spoiler alert?

M-Dot ft. Masta Ace – You Don’t Know About It

From Boston to Brooklyn to France and all points in between. A dopely creative flick from M-Dot and DJ Jean Maron’s upcoming album, "Run MPC", dropping August 31st on Soulspazm.
