Video Breakdown: Keri Hilson’s R-Rated “The Way You Love Me”

Unless you’re living under a rock you’ve more than likely heard about or seen Keri Hilson’s new video “The Way You Love Me” featuring Rick Ross. It’s received a tremendous amount of criticism with some concerned with both the raunchiness of the video and the lyrics. We say you judge for yourself.



0:04 – How is the objective “The Way You Love Me?” That makes no sense. Isn’t that just the name of the song?

0:25 – Is that JoJo? How random.

0:37 – Faith Evans is “Danja?” Boots? Danja? Who came up with these names?

0:44 – Britney Spears as Lil’ Boo Boo?! What?? Okay, not really…

1:30 - *Spits out Cinnamon Toast Crunch* Did she just say, no make that yell “Fuck me! Fuck me!”

1:36 – I’ve just come to the realization that this video is almost seven minutes long. That is beyond frightening.

2:09 - “I got the kind of pussy that’ll keep you off the streets.” I don’t even have a comment for that one.

2:12 – What kind of shoddy choreography is that?

2:43 – I’m sure that door’s happy.

3:20 – I wonder if Keri can see out of those sunglasses.

3:48 – I thought Nuvo spots in music videos ended in ’09?

5:22 – “It is what is.” And the award for Best Four Words Spoken In A Music Video By A C.O. Turned Rapper goes to…Rick Ross!

6:01 – All this licking is it really necessary Keri?
