Usher ft. T.I. “In My Bag” & Usher ft. Plies “Hey Daddy (Daddy’s Home)” (Listen & Download)

Usher, T.I.
It's a sad thing watching your heroes fade. For years Usher was my ish - I almost wore out my copy of "Confessions" but ever since the perennial bachelor got married and had a kid his music just hasn't been the same. Sure he's divorced now, but that hasn't seemed to help much, as his two new tracks "In My Bag" featuring T.I. and "Hey Daddy (Daddy's Home)" featuring Plies prove.

First off, I don't really have any problem with "In My Bag", other than the fact that it's lyrically questionable ("No homo"? Really Usher?). Production wise it's a much more rockin track than we're used to from Usher Raymond, and T.I. drops a good not great verse. Take it or leave it.

Second, I'd frankly prefer to pretend that "Daddy's Home" never happened. I haven't seen a collaborative talent gap like this since Kobe was forced to play with Kwame Brown. Just hearing Plies on this track makes me want to throw up in my mouth a little bit, and if you're writing me "don't be a Plies hater" emails right now, go ahead. This track is atrocious.
