Wait...before you even press play, I want you to guess what Usher's new single "Scream" is going to sound like. Think it over - we're talking one of the world's biggest R&B/pop superstars, second single off the upcoming album, you've got to assume he's going for huge radio smash.

Yeah, that's exactly what I thought it'd sound like too. Another version of that Ibiza club, quasi-EDM sound that Rihanna/Nicki Minaj/every artist in the world is currently pushing so hard. No hate there, there's obviously a huge market for it, and in the right setting "Scream" is exactly what you're looking for. But if I can be allowed a grumpy old man moment, I miss the Usher off "Confessions". That album was a modern R&B classic.

Whatever. Usher's going to sell something like a million copies of the new album when it drops this summer and he'll once again officially be the (2012) version of the king of pop. It's really only a matter of time.
