UNDRCRWN Pays Tribute To Dream Team With New Collection (Pics)

Last week urban apparel brand UNDRCRWN introduced a new line of t-shirts that pay homage to the Dream Team. The line is reminiscent of you more old school Dream Team (you know when they were actually exciting). Two t-shirts from the “Dream Team” collection look pretty similar to the throwback Dream Team jerseys of the 90’s which is pretty ironic since the collection was released the same day (August 13, 2010) the 1992 Dream Team was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame.

As is expected from UNDRCRWN, the “Dream Team” collection is both creative and eye-catching. The collection features about six different t-shirts (three different designs in two colors) all with Dream Team inspired graphics. My personal favorite is the “Dreaming Tee.” It’s about as close as you can get to an authentic Dream Team jersey for a fraction of the price.

nice idea.

Kinda on the subject of any Team USA Basketball teams... Basketball is America's sport, America shouldn't use the NBA players because they don't care so much about winning it when they get paid millions to play in the NBA.

MY IDEA is that every time the FIFA World Basketball Championships or the Olympics rolls around, the team that wins the NCAA Tourney should represent the USA.
SOME of those guys will go pro, but the guys that don't (and the coach that got them through the NCAA Tourney) would really play their hearts out. Winning a gold medal for some of these kids would be a great accomplishment.

1stround-ko The obvious problem the U.S. Dream Team has been having is that NBA players just don't want to win as much, not when they're risking injury and millions of dollars.

At the same time, the rest of the world has gotten so much better, and more professional, that we can't just roll out our best college team and expect to win. We need more NBA guys who really want to win and are committed and the U.S. will get back on top.

1stround-ko	I am not guaranting that the best college team can win gold... but they have been playing together as a well-tuned machine for at least one whole season... thoses kids will really try, AND the guys that do go pro will get a good look at international talent. Plus the kies that don't go to the NBA can get picked up by overseas basketball leagues.
