I think it's safe to say that we'll probably never run out of unreleased songs from the late, great
Tupac Shakur. Earlier today two unreleased songs from the rapper hit the internet, "NY 87" featuring Kurupt, Threat, and Daz Dillinger and "Watch Yo Mouth." Ironically enough both songs are diss tracks and Tupac was going at everybody from A Tribe Called Quest and De La Soul to the "Queen Of All Media" herself Wendy Williams.
It's always interesting hearing unreleased music from Tupac. The songs are close to being decades old now so it seems like you're being thrown into some sort of Hip-Hop time machine when you hear them. Especially when you hear lines like, "Bow down to Death Row. Fuck what you say, we untouchable now that we done shook Doc Dre. He ain't made a beat in six years swear he the shit. Won't get no record deals suckin' Nas dick" in 2011. I can't help but wonder what Tupac would think about this whole "Detox" delay. Hmm...
