True 2 Life Music Ask “Who the F**k Is This?” (Watch and Download)

What the Fuck is This

It's Friday, you ain't got a job, and you ain't got nothin to do. Or if you have a job, you're already trying to kill time until the weekend hits. Either way there may be no better use of your Friday than spending a few minutes watching True 2 Life Music's new video "Who the F**k Is This?" Featuring the infamous Biggie sample of the same name, "Who the F**k Is This?" is one of the most entertaining videos to hit my eyeballs in a while.

The Refined Take

1. True 2 Life Music consists of Concise, K.Words & Slangston Hughes. I'll be honest, I don't know exactly which one of them is Slangston Hughes, but that is an incredible name. It's about time Langston Hughes got some love. That man was dope lyricist 60 years before hip-hop even existed.
2. Out of all the "I totally know that guy" moments, my favorite has to be people who type in call caps (probably because of my particular line of work). How can I put this? WRITING YOUR DUMB ISH IN ALL CAPS JUST DRAWS FURTHER ATTENTION TO HOW DUMB IT IS.
3. To the "Who the F**k Is This?" roster I would have to add that dude at live shows who, even through the crowd is packed, decides he's going to shove his way to the front. And what's worse, he's always bringing along like ten other dudes. Before you know it, you're twenty feet further back than you were a minute ago and you've torn your rotator cuff. F that guy.
4. More than just an entertaining video, I have to say I'm digging True 2 Life's sounds. There's a time and a place for street bangers and politically concious tomes, but hip-hop's always been about having a good time, and these young dudes deliver.
5. True 2 Life Music just dropped a Biggie-inspired mixtape called "Bigger Than Life" (check the download link below). One can only assume that their fascination with the Notorious one comes largely from the fact that one of their members looks strangely like Biggie Smalls. He doesn't exactly look like Christopher Wallace, but if you told me he was Biggie's nephew, I'd totally believe you.

If you like what you're seeing (and hearing), you can download True 2 Life Music's "Bigger Than Life" mixtape via MediaFire here.
