Catching the F**k Up With Tony Williams & Brother Ali (Listen & Download)

As you may have couldn't help but notice, yesterday we had a little #FuckLove thing going down. Fortunately that meant we were protected by the deluge of opportunistic rappers releasing crappy love songs as a marketing gimmick, but unfortunately that meant we missed out on two worthy but love-centric new projects: The World Famous Tony Williams' "The King or the Fool" and Brother Ali's "The Bite Marked Heart". And since (most of) you have the attention span of a 4th grader whose Riddlin prescription ran out, I'm folding both into one post.

First up is The World Famous Tony Williams, best known as Kanye's go-to writer and singer; he's appeared multiple times on every Yeezy solo album (see "Spaceships"). "The King or the Fool" is Williams' first major attempt to establish himself as a solo artist, and his obvious connections helped secure features from Ye, John Legend and The Kid Daytona, along with production from Bink!, No I.D., Hit-Boy and more.

Up next is Brother Ali, who continues to be one of the more honest and fearless emcees in the game. "The Bite Marked Heart", as the title suggests, is a 7-track tale of the joys and pains of love featuring Phonte, Stokley Williams and Aby Wolf. (Warning: This album contains absolutely no swag.)
