“Tick Tock” Motherfu**rs, It’s Pusha T, Raekwon & Joell OritzPosted by Nathan S. on 09/12/12 | Filed under Top Stories, Pusha T, Raekwon, Joell Ortiz |

Ask around, even some of hip-hop's most serious names will admit that they don't want it with Pusha T right now. For the last six months, at least, Push has been First 48ing every track he even contemplates touching, and this new "Tick Tock" joint is no different.
I don't do this often, but just check out the opening lines:
"The devil is a lie, you ain't broke bread till you taste the devil's pie
They say his last sound is like an angel when he cries
What better camouflage when a halo's your disguise?"
Sweet baby jesus, if you're not feeling that then you don't actually like hip-hop. And the fact that Raekwon and Joell Ortiz throw in some more the solid offerings means I just found my new choice for "track of the day"...maybe the week.
"Tick, Tock", can be found on the soundtrack to RZA's upcoming, very bad-ass looking "The Man With the Iron Fists" movie, due out November 2. Oh, and for the record, that Pusha sample of from the Re-Up Gang's ridiculously dope remix of "Dey Know".
