The Gent$’ Game is “High Profile” (Mixtape Listen & Download)

After a day filled with superstar rappers (Drake, Eminem, T.I., Nas) I thought it was only right to give some less-known (but still deserving) acts some shine. In other words it was the perfect time to introduce Chicago-based trio The Gent$. Comprised of Pugs Atomz, Ill Legit and Wes Restless, The Gent$ have created a sound that's a lush yet minimalistic blend of funk and hip-hop, with a measure of porn thrown in...you know what, you're just going to have to listen to their new project "High Profile" to understand what I'm talking about. Featuring beats from Restless himself, plus Vanysh, Simple X, Anton Genius and more, and of course some of the fresher rhyme style this side of the Mississippi, "High Profile" is first and foremost an exercise in style. I'm not saying downloading this mixtape is going to get you laid, I'm just saying it won't hurt.
