Thad Reid Promises the Haters Will “Suffer Too” (Listen & Download)

A big part of our mission here at RefinedHype is to call out any artists/tracks that are being overhyped (that new Lil Wayne & Titi Boi joint is atrocious) and try to build some hype behind those artists who deserve it. In that spirit I proudly present Thad Reid, a Virginia-born emcee who rightfully calls himself "The Voice of the Commonwealth" and his new cut "Suffer Too".

Built around some soulful boardwork from Dichter 2 Productions, "Suffer Too" is Reid's promise to anyone doubting him now that there will come a day when they will suffer too. More important, Reid's got an almost flawless flow, even managing to pull off an extended Biggie quote. Regular readers know all about my love for the Celtics, so I can honestly say the only part of this track I even remotely disliked was a Kobe/Odom reference, but hey, nobody's perfect.
