It's been nearly a year since buzzmaking trio Tanya Morgan dropped junior album Brooklynati, a set widely acclaimed as one of '09's finest releases so, if you still haven't taken a listen, there may be no hope. Nonetheless, both fans and those late to the party should get a kick out of the nostalgia-drenched video for standout track "Bang N Boogie," which finds Donwill, Ilyad and Von Pea playing younger versions of themselves as they revisit past experiences with the fairer sex.

Brooklynati, of course, is available now, as is Donwill's debut solo set, Don Cusack in High Fidelity. Von Pea's solo album, Pea's Gotta Have It, drops this summer via Interdependent Media.

Its really well done… Video is beautiful in his execution (love those bubble butts :p) and highly amusing in his subject’s performances. Despite an indie budget, a great video for one of my favorite tracks off the album. Shouts to @Nathan for putting me up to this. It was his comment on Freestyle #54 which finally led me to check out the Goodness that was Brooklynati !!! |
