As everyone who already heard T.I.'s fresh out of jail track "I'm Back", which at this point I think is everyone, the King is indeed back, and he's not pleased with the wack Southern rappers who have been getting their 15 minutes of fame during his absence (I'll let you name names). Clifford's path of vengeance continues today with the en fuego visuals to "I'm Back", and they're just as explosive as the track itself.
1) I'm no arsonist, but I'm pretty sure you want to set the fire and then leave quickly, not stick around and perform a four minute song. But hey, what do I know?
2) On a related but side note, I'm not quite sure how, but T.I.'s arrest has become hip-hop's version of the J.F.K. assassination. I've heard more crazy conspiracy stories surrounding his arrest and jail time than I could possibly recount here, including "Tiny planted the guns on him." How about this? He was carrying enough automatic weapons to arm a militia. He got arrested for it. Given the circumstances he was sentenced a reasonable amount of time and then served that time. Sounds good to me.
3) Remember when there was "beef" between Shawty Lo and T.I. How'd that one work out for ya Shawty? T.I. was in jail for the last year and his career was still stronger than yours. That's not beef, that's a fact.
4) It will be interesting to see how jail changes T.I.'s music, if at all. So far it only seems to have made him want to revisit his earlier, harder days (and that's definitely a good thing). We'll find out for sure when his new album tentatively titled "King Uncaged" drops...well...whenever the fuck it drops. Hopefully by the end of the year.
5) I find it hard to believe you haven't already downloaded this song, but just in case, here ya go.
